Who's a risk?

People at highest risk of developing BCC, SCC or AK are those who:

are older than 40 years of age
have fair skin and/or fair or red hair
have many moles and/or freckles
have had a high level of exposure to the sun, especially during childhood
have been exposed to cancer-causing chemicals
have HIV or whose immune system is compromised eg people who had organ transplants
have skin affected by trauma and/or scarring.
